US Dollar gives a preview

Yesterday was a preview of what might happen if by some chance the 'death of the dollar' chanting going on in every corner of the internet fails to come through this time, again.

The dollar is evidently not going to go quietly to the script that the resource pumpers, dollar collapse cultists and the lunatic fringe segment of the gold bug 'community' insist it must play to.

The dollar is a worthless piece of paper with broken promises written all over it, but are you going to pitch me the euro? How about zinc? Copper? Or whatever oats and nuts Jim Rogers is buying? That's not gonna work well in contraction, round 2.

The gold miners should lead the way, down and up again. Very interesting times and as disturbed as this may sound, I have rarely enjoyed the markets so much as over the last half a year or so.

Okay Uncle Buck, you're up. What ya gonna do? Near term events hinge on whether or not policy makers are going to be allowed to break the buck. Either way, it will be interesting. 'El Hyper' or deflationary dunk. The dollar and the treasury market will tell.
