Au-SPX ratio says policy makers losing control - despite debt deal

So far it appears that my suspicions that they could cook up a short term market rally and instill confidence have been wrong.  A visual indicator of that is the bullish monthly Au-SPX ratio, first intro'd a few weeks ago in NFTRH.
