If I were a trapped stock market participant, I would be hoping for something similar to what happened in 2008, when the market put in a topping pattern, dropped like a stone, found support at the EMA 200 and offered casino patrons one last exit out of the establishment with a rise to test the topping structure. That is what I would be hoping for.
