Well if my kid can write a good enough letter, maybe. The kids in the middle school are writing letters to the Presidential candidate or political figure of their choice in hopes of getting them to visit. They are going to hand write these things in an effort to personalize and really try to get some visits.
My daughter is the only one writing to Ron Paul among the Presidential candidates. In fact, the vast majority of the kids have never even heard of him. Thanks MSM, but you too will be tamed one day - the internet shall set us free; unless someone purposely trips over the power cord.
My daughter is a talented writer and she and I have had discussions about honest money and honest government. She gets it, and cannot figure out how money can be printed out of nowhere and still retain any kind of value. An 8th grader intuitively gets what the lumpen masses have refused to get and what the myopic politicians, and the complicit mainstream media have tried to cover up. I hope she is able to get this man who loves America and respects the world to visit my little town.
BTW, did you see Doctor Paul interviewed on Fox News Sunday last night? Excellent... he was honest, direct and even funny. See, getting our house in order will not have to be a dour experience. Ultimately, quitting a crack habit, difficult though it sure would be, is a rewarding thing.
Edit (11/8 @ 7:19 AM) This MSNBC spot illustrates just how far ahead of one of the robots Ron Paul really is with respect to honest economics.

Good for your daughter! It's nice to see more and more young people finding Ron Paul. Even if they/we are the few, Liberty has ever only required a highly motivated minority to make great things happen. I agree on the power of the internet. I don't think it's hyperbole to say that it's the venue for the Minutemen of the 21st century.
ReplyDeleteMy oldest daughter is in 7th grade. We had a talk early 2010 about honest money and decided to take her little savings account out of the bank and buy silver with it. What has happened since has been a great reinforcement of that honest money talk.
Awesome SG! Simply awesome. The future and the hope is in these kids. If their parents get it, they are quick to get it too. I guess that is the advantage of an honest message; it resonates immediately w/out all the b/s massaging that lies need.
