Despite the calls and non calls that sure looked geared to get this into OT for the casual fan, the Rangers would not give in. What a gritty 3rd period. Canadian national anthem kicks it off, I guess due to the fact that this is the CBC broadcast.
The last 5 minutes is as Tortorella said, "disgusting". Non call on Gaborik breakaway, McDonagh pushed into the net and called for delay of game, Callahan mugged on break toward empty net and receives coincidental penalty and then McDonagh apparently (no camera view) closes his hand on the puck for a penalty shot.
But the Flyers suck anyway. Cannot wait to see how the Rangers stack up against the Bruins.
